Why I am doing things differently this year, and a sneak peek at TOTB's 2026 guides
Summer is (evidently, rudely, stickily) upon us!
Since launching this blog, I have published a round-up of the best Pride events around the world. While that focused primarily on pride month and summer celebrations spilling into July and August, I’m not doing that this year.
Corporations will remind us that Pride Month™️has come and gone, and now they don’t need our $£€ anymore, they can strip their logos of reluctantly-inclusive rainbows, and go back to their respectable customers.
That won’t do.
This year, I am shifting the spotlight away from summer Pride events to focus on DIY Prides around the world — loud, uncomfortable ones, reminding everyone that pride was born as a protest, and there is still much, much, muuuch to protest about in 2026.
So, what can you expect from the coming months?
